Description

The museum is named after István Türr (1825-1908), a hero of the war of independence (1848-49) born in Baja. It houses archaeological, historical, ethnographic and art collections relating to the town of Baja and its surroundings. The large exhibition on "Life on the Danube" is particularly interesting.
