The track leading to the Tad Champee waterfall passes through hamlets dotted between fields of manioc and plantations of rubber trees. Although more difficult to access than other cascades on the Bolaven plateau, visitors are rewarded with a setting of delightful tranquillity. The falls themselves (6-7m in height) are not particularly spectacular, but are a pleasant place for a swim, either in the river (above the falls) or in the natural pools downstream.
