Description

The old town of Bansko has retained fine fortress-like houses concealed within their enclosures. Many of them have been turned into inns serving the famous herb flavoured sausages, one of the city's claims to fame! Along Veljan-Ognev Street stands the splendid Veljanova kašta. This typical house boasts remarkable murals. When you come out, stroll through the tiny maze of cobbled lanes in the vicinity where Time appears to have stopped.
