Description

The collections of the Museu Egipci de Barcelona cover various periods of Egyptian civilisation (as well as a few Roman-era artefacts). It includes, most notably, numerous sarcophagi, mummies and funerary masks, which demonstrate the importance religion and the afterlife held for Egyptians. There is also a luxurious collection of jewellery and interior objects.
