Useful information

Description

This museum, designed by the architect Mario Botta and devoted to the Swiss sculptor Jean Tinguely (1925-1991), a prolific creator of machine-sculptures and fanciful mobiles, is located in Solitude Park on the banks of the Rhine. The visit charts the development of the artist's work from the 50s to the 80s, finishing with the Grosse Méta Maxi-Maxi Utopia (1987), a major work. Temporary exhibitions showcase the artist's work by rotation.
