Description
To the north of Batticaloa, Cape Kalkudah separates two vast coves, both of which are graced by lovely beaches. To the north, well-sheltered by two rocky outcrops, Passikudah has been entirely overrun by hotel tourist complexes. To the south, the huge expanse of Kalkudah unfolds for miles and miles of sand and is most certainly one of the country's finest beaches.
