Useful information

Description

This building was built between 1976 and 1979 according to plans by Walter Gropius, the founder of the Bauhaus school. Its simple white lines have been adapted to the museum's requirements, with internal spaces characterised by simplicity and light in line with guiding Bauhaus principles. The exhibitions change here regularly and reflect the diversity of art forms embraced by the movement (furniture, craftwork, paintings and architecture).
