Useful information

Description

This modern building (1998), located behind the Delphi Filmpalast, houses the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the Berlin Stock Exchange. The extraordinary structure, whose outline resembles an armadillo, was designed by British architect Nicholas Grimshaw, known for his work on Waterloo Station in London, among other works. Each of the 15 arches supporting the roof and the office floors has different dimensions, in order to integrate the structure with the local skyline.
