Completed in 1797, this beloved 44-gun frigate is the oldest commissioned warship afloat. Undefeated in 33 battles, she earned her nickname "Old Ironsides" during the War of 1812 against the British, when enemy fire seemed to bounce off her wooden planking without causing damage. Entertaining tours, led by US Navy personnel, detail the intricate workings of the massive ship.
