This popular local park offers an elaborate playground, spacious lawns, paths that wind among ancient conifers, and a diversity of flowers that assures blooms of some sort no matter the season. But the park's pièce de résistance is its display of 1,000 10ft-high azalea plants, whose radiant blossoms peak in April and May.
