Description

From the Axenquai, the wanderer will discover a full view of Uri Lake, standing like a fjord between the mountain peaks. The beautiful shape on the Uri-Rotstock, with its two blunt teeth above a small glacier. On the opposite bank, we see the prairie where the Rütli Sermon (1291) was signed and the Seelisberg salient, the very end of which stands the natural obelisk dedicated to Schiller, who wrote William Tell.
