Description
Situated at the top of the Coudenberg ("Cold Mountain"), this elegantly proportioned, Louis XVI square is the work of Frenchmen Guimard and Barré. It is dominated by the church, Église St-Jacques-sur-Coudenberg. The centre of the square, where the statue of Godefroy of Bouillon stands, gives a lovely view towards the dome of the courthouse.
