Useful information

Description

In 1871, a yellow fever epidemic caused the aristocrats of San Telmo to flee the district. Their homes became conventillos, where immigrants lived and worked. El Zanjón de Granados was excavated, and, with its different levels, is a superb example of such a residence. A fascinating place to visit, both for the beauty of the admirably restored premises and for the information relayed by the guide, who will immerse you in the district's history.
