An outstanding example of late-Elizabethan architecture, this attractive red-brick house was started in 1598 and completed in 1610. Its main rooms are characterised by their decor of stuccowork and wood panelling depicting biblical, mythological and allegorical theme. Enjoy attractive views of the house from the walled garden, vegetable garden, maze, orchard, rose garden and campanula garden.
