Useful information

Description

The distillery is easily recognisable by its pagoda-shaped kilns, in which the germinated barley is dried out. It is believed to have been in operation since the 13C, although with more certainty since 1608, when it was granted the first licence to distil whiskey by King James I of Scotland. Today the company belongs to the company Irish Distillers. After the tour, complete with a tasting at the end, you will know all there is to know about the whiskey-making process.
