Description

This 30m-high defensive tower was built out of blocks of white limestone. It was constructed two years after the Torre di San Pancrazio, according to the same layout and form. It is named after the statue of an elephant perched on a console, at a height of more than 10m. It is well worth climbing the 119 steps for the magnificent panoramic view.
