Useful information

Description

Founded in 1441 by King Henry VI, the college is set around a Front Court. It is separated from King's Parade by a Gothic revival screen and gatehouse by William Wilkins (1778-1839) and is dominated by the classical-style Gibbs' Building. To the left is another building by Wilkins but this is overshadowed by the slim late Perpendicular buttresses of the Chapel which is Cambridge's masterpiece.
