Useful information

Description

A tour of St John's College (founded 1511) is a walk through the world of architecture. It is Cambridge's second largest college; the gatehouse, decorated with coats of arms, is one of the finest in the city. The courtyards are predominantly Tudor. Behind Third Court is the Kitchen Bridge leading to the neo-Gothic New Court. From the 18C bridge there is an attractive view of Hutchinson's romantic Bridge of Sighs.
