Description

Known as Franklin D. Roosevelt's "beloved island", the appeal of this summer resort lies in its sandy beaches and picturesque coves as well as the souvenir of America's famous president. His cottage, in fact a sprawling 34-room mansion built in the Dutch colonial style, simply furnished and dotted with letters, photos and memorabilia, is one of the island's highlights.
