Description

Built on St Martin's Hill, it has an impressive Perpendicular-style steeple. The brick used to build its walls is of Roman origin, as are the baptismal fonts and "leper squint" 60cm from the ground at the back of the nave. St Martin's Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
