Description

It was in this Anglican cathedral that Desmond Tutu led the congregation in worship. The internationally famous Anglican archbishop played an important role in the fall of the apartheid regime and in building a new South Africa as president of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.
