Description

Cardiff Cathedral was built between 1120 and 1280 but fell into decay after the Reformation. The chancel is now separated from the nave by a concrete arch; it includes choir stalls dating from the 19C and a large aluminium Christ. Note, in the chapel dedicated to the Welsh regiment, Rossetti's triptych, The Seed of David.
