Description

This legendary pass of the Tour de France, alt. 2,360m, offers a striking contrast between the grassy summits of Briançon on one side and the famous Casse Déserte and lunar landscapes of the Queyras on the other. The viewing table at Izoard Pass identifies the landmarks of this contrasting scenery, while a monument pays tribute to the Alpine army, who built this pass on the Grand Alps route.
