This museum houses a collection of 6 000 objects exchanged by Indians and European-Americans in the fur trade of the 18C and 19C. Displays also include 300 guns made for the Indian trade between 1750 and 1900. Behind the museum is a small earthen trading post, operated independently by James Bordeaux for the Sioux trade until 1872.
