Description
Les Jards, the green lung of Châlons-en-Champagne, are a pleasant place for stroll. The Petit Jard, a landscaped Napoleon III-style garden with a flower clock and arboretum extends along the Nau, which cuts into the "water gate" of the Château du Marché. The Grand Jard is a large French-style garden planted with chestnut trees and embellished with pools. A footbridge leads to the Jardin Anglais, laid out in 1818 and restructured in 2004. It is bordered by the canal and the River Marne.
