Description

This Trappist abbey was founded in 1850. Its sober buildings flank a central courtyard overlooked by the stark church front (1949). The monks here brew the famous "Trappiste de Chimay" beer; the abbey also houses an interactive exhibition dedicated to the production of Chimay's beers and cheeses.
