Description
The three islands of Choros, Damas and Chañaral make up the Reserva Nacional Pingüino de Humboldt, situated to the north of La Serena on the coast of Norte Chico. The islands are home to a rich array of unusual marine life, including dolphins, otters, sea lions and Humboldt penguins, many of which are rare and endangered species.
