To access this beautiful, romantic 18C garden, you go between two towers surmounted by arches sculpted with moss and plant designs. A lane with azulejo-covered benches leads to a fountain decorated with statues. This is a refreshing and restful oasis amid the bustle of the city, thanks to the exotic trees and a lake surrounded by pruned boxtrees forming a kind of maze.
