Description

The natural beauty of the Sperrin Mountains is the backdrop for the Sperrin Heritage Centre, where you can learn more about the region thanks to reconstructions of traditional interiors. Terminals, videos and exhibitions describe the flora and fauna and the cultural history of the region. Among other things, you will learn that the Sperrins were for a long time a haunt of clandestine grower-distillers of the famous poteen, a forty-rod whiskey.
