Description

Standing in the episcopal palace, this museum has eight panels from a retable by Jean de Bourgogne (around 1510), two Grecos, a Crucifixion by Gérard David and a fine collection of silverware among which a 13C Byzantine diptych painted in a monastery on Mount Athos and the Cross of St Julian, in gilded bronze and decorated with enamels, made by a Limoges craftsman in around 1200.
