Explore Gyeryong-san National Park, which covers some 65km2 and is home to numerous animal species, major temples such as Donghak-sa and a waterfall that makes for a refreshing break en route, without forgetting the 1.6km-long ridge path that runs from Gwaneum-bong (816 m) to Sambul-bong (775 m). It is named after the ridge of this small mountain range (Mount Gwaneum-bong culminates at 816m) and resembles a dragon (ryong) with a cockerel's crest (gye) on its head.
