Description

One of the claims to fame of the distinctive perfect cone of Adam's Peak, the sacred mountain, is that it reconciles all confessions, each of which recognises the stamp of its god in the footprint at the summit. Over 5,000 steps must be climbed to reach the top, trodden by up to 20,000 pilgrims on some days. We recommend making the climb at night, if the weather is clear, to see the sunrise from the top at dawn!
