Useful information

Description

This museum contains the world's largest collection of works by Ernst-Ludwig Kirchner (1880-1938), who lived in Davos from 1917 until his death. Kirchner, whose work was labelled as "degenerate" by the Nazis, is one of the most significant German Expressionist painters. The Zurich architects Gigon and Guyer designed the building with its remarkable frosted glass façades.
