Useful information

Description

The entire legend of the American Far West is charted in the American Museum of Western Art by over 300 paintings and sculptures exhibiting bison, Native-American tribes, soldiers, trappers and cow-boys. This museum, opened in 2010, is housed in an elegant 1880 Victorian edifice that was once a brothel. Now the property of oil and railway magnate, Phillip Anschutz, this collection of private art of extraordinary quality showcases the regional art.
