Description

Start your visit at the CAIRN contemporary arts centre. The region's geological past is reviewed in the Maison des Remparts. Don't miss the room devoted to Imaginary geology, which showcases giant ammonites and paintings by Georges Autard. Next, four paths acquaint you with land art, such as the spectacular concretions of a stone waterfall and a butterfly reproduction area. The museum-walk is also home to the headquarters of the UNESCO Geopark of Upper Provence.
