Useful information

Description

These baths dating from the 3C AD have a classical layout. Originally, visitors to these winter baths would enter via a vestibule to the north; the room has preserved several columns and a section of its mosaic pavement. From the main street, entry to the baths was via two deep and dark underground passageways, which lead to a vestibule adjoining the frigidarium. At one end of this cold room, the horizon is framed between the two attractive columns of one of the doors; three large arcades to one side provide a little shade.
