Useful information

Description

The Dublin Writers Museum is devoted to authors associated with Dublin. It also illustrates Irish literary tradition, from illuminated manuscripts from the Celtic Christian tradition to the present era. Considerable space is afforded to Jonathan Swift and his contemporaries, to authors who, like Oscar Wilde and George Bernard Shaw, made their names in England, those who went to live abroad such as James Joyce and Samuel Beckett, and the great names from the 19C, including Yeats, Synge and O'Casey.
