Description

This spacious central square with pleasant gardens is popular with locals who call it "El Salón" (the Drawing Room). It is still possible to see the remains of the Roman baths (two basins) beneath a covering of concrete. Note also the Iglesia de Santa Bárbara and its remarkable choir stalls, the Convento de San Francisco, the houses backing onto the church, and the town hall.
