Description

The largest urban wilderness park in the US spans 37sq mi of Chihuahuan Desert, from El Paso to the Texas-New Mexico state line. It is a favorite of hikers, mountain bikers, rock climbers and nature lovers. Along with desert plants such as sotol and ocotillo, the park is home to mule deer, many birds and occasional mountain lions.
