Description

At the foot of the masonry-clad cliff, the top of which forms a parapet of the coastal streets, the beach is sheltered and protected by a pier to the north and acts as a harbour. From the square (Largo das Ribas) that dominates it, passers-by watch the fishing boats dock to unload their catches of fish or octopus.
