Description
At this 8.5-acre riverfront park more than 4,500 roses representing some 300 varieties bloom along curving paths. Visitors can savor the sights and smells of both old-fashioned and modern roses with such evocative names as Rio Samba, Patrician and Pleasure. The roses usually peak in mid-June; many varieties bloom throughout the summer and early fall.
