Useful information

Description

It was into this Renaissance-style mansion that Marfise d'Este welcomed Tasso (1544-1595) who wrote Jerusalem delivered. Inside you will see some 16 and 17C furniture as well as some sophisticated grotesques decorating the ceiling. Do not miss the Loggia of orange trees (entry via the garden) with its vault decorated with a trompe-l'oeil pergola.
