Description
The untamed beauty of Lofoten can already be taken in during the crossing from Bodø, via ferry or express boat service: as the boat sails via Vest Fjord, you will see the dark mass of Lofotveggen (the so-called Lofoten Wall) literally blocking out the horizon. Stark and rugged, this natural marvel surges up out of the sea. Then the tiny villages nestling at the foot of the mountains can be made out, surrounded by grassy expanses. And this is just the beginning of a wonderful journey.
