This museum dedicated to the emperor and his family opened in 1986 and occupies 10 rooms in the Louis XV wing of the Palace of Fontainebleau. It charts the 10 years of Napoleon I's reign, from his coronation in 1804 to his abdication from Fontainebleau in April 1814.
