The National Historic Site contains several restored Hudson's Bay Company buildings that date from 1884 to 1889. The men's house and officers' quarters have been meticulously refurbished and restored and both are open to the public, as is the reconstituted trading store. Not far away is a fish cache and the main warehouse which contains a priceless collection of furs. Costumed guides and films bring the site back to life.
