Description

Through a rich collection of over 2500 works of art, the Departmental Museum of Pre-Colombian Archaeology and Prehistory charts the life of Martinique's first inhabitants. The educational tour reviews agriculture, ceramics, weaving, spiritual world, festivals, adornments and jewellery of these Native American populations. The exhibit emphasises their legacy in today's vocabulary, but also cooking, fishing and arts and crafts.
