Description
After crossing Bern Bridge, a pretty wooden construction spanning the Sarine, you reach the old town. Its historic lanes are dotted with reminders of the past, such as the Fountain of the Samaritan Woman (1151), in the street of the same name that leads to Place du Petit-St-Jean, home to many fine buildings and St-Anne's Fountain (1560).
