Situated in the Pépinière public gardens, the museum boasts an excellent archaeology section with the Stele of Briançon and exceptional bronze jewellery. Ceramics are illustrated by pieces made in Moustiers and Queyras is represented by splendid carved furniture. Other halls are devoted to European art, from 14C Italian to 19C French, natural history, ancient weapons and temporary exhibitions.
