Description

Various excursions are on offer from Geiranger, on boats that are small enough to get close to the banks of the splendid fjord framed by sheer rock faces and summits capped with snow year round. There are impressive waterfalls, such as the famous Sju Søstre (Seven Sisters), which comes crashing down from a great height making a deafening din, while others give the impression of falling gently from the top, floating like a white veil and glittering in the sun with rainbow reflections.
