Description

Don't miss the early-13C domed church of Agios Athanassios decorated with large, brightly coloured frescoes; the finely proportioned church of Agios Sosson (12C); and the 13C church of Agios Nikolaos with a beautiful fresco depicting St Mary the Egyptian in the chancel. Also worth a visit are the tiny church of Agii Theodori, the church of Agios Ioannis Chrysostomos (a basilica with a 12C nave and vault covered in early-15C Byzantine frescoes), and the 12C church of the Evangelistria.
